Travelling along the spiritual path with Gurudev, there have been many experiences where many a times outwardly, it has been seen that Gurudev would make a person feel that he (Guruji) has accepted his (the person’s) request. But afterwards he would unfold such a play that would keep the person wondering.   Such an experience came to light in March 2003 at Haridwar. Gurudev was invited as the Chief Guest in a special programme organised in the famous Jain Mandir. As per Gurudev’s instructions the camera team reached the place a day prior to the programme. On the day of the programme at around 12 noon a phone call was received from Gurudev saying, “We are at the VIP Ghat at Harki Paudi, a senior Minister in Mauritius Government and a Producer of a TV Channel are also along with us. You come here.”   The camera team reached the Ghat according to Gurudev’s instructions. There the Hon’ble Minister was getting a special Pooja of Mother Ganga performed by Brahmins in the presence of Shri Gurudev.   In a short while, the organiser of the programme in the Jain Mandir, Mr. J K Jain also reached the spot. After completing the pooja, all came and sat down at a place. The time for the scheduled programme was nearing so Mr. Jain requested Gurudev and also the Minister to come for the programme. The Minister replied, “We have to go to Delhi and I am taking Gurudev along with me now.’’ Mr. Jain was surprised to hear this. In a somewhat tense tone he said, “How is it possible ?. Swamiji is the Chief Guest of our today’s programme, the District Magistrate of Haridwar is also going to come for the programme. He also wants to meet Swamiji. In such a situation how is it possible for Swamiji to leave the programme and return to Delhi?”. Mr. Jain and the Respected Minister started arguing with each other. Gurudev told both of them, “Neither will you (Mr. Jain) go against his (Minister’s) wish nor will you (Minister) go against his (Mr. Jain’s) wish. I too will not go against both of your wishes.”   The Hon’ble Minister raised the point “ I have come all the way from Mauritius to meet Gurudev only. You stay here in India. You can contact him (Gurudev) some other time. But it is not possible for me to come to India again and again”. At this request Mr. Jain was speechless. Gurudev along with the Minister and the senior most officer of the Channel left for Delhi.   The next day the officer rang up Gurudev’s P.A. and said “Where is Gurudev ?” The PA replied. “You should be knowing it. He went along with you.” The officer then disclosed “On reaching Delhi’s border Gurudev got down from the car saying, “You reach the hotel, I will come there in a short while.” However, till now he has not yet arrived. Gurudev is also not at home. The Minister is going back to Mauritius by morning flight. He wants to meet Gurudev urgently. He is getting worried.”   Gurudev reached his residence after two days and narrated the whole incident to his P.A. in this way, “Actually, on the way from Haridwar to Delhi, the gentleman seated in the car thought that he had been successful as a Minister, in bringing Gurudev from Haridwar. I read his mind and on reaching the outskirts of Delhi, I got down from the car, hired a taxi and reached my Meditation spot.”   Such type of leela was also shown by Gurudev during the organisation of th the 26 Prabhu Kripa Samagam at Ujjain in May, 2004 at the Mahakumbh. Mr. Agarwal of Singhstha Samiti had organised the Samagam. The organisers were somewhat wealthy. Hence their behaviour was somewhat different. When those people reached Indore airport to welcome Gurudev, he had already informed his P.A. regarding this.   The Vice President of the Agarwal Singhstha Samiti, Mr. Santosh Agarwal had arranged for the stay of Gurudev in his own luxurious Bungalow. When Gurudev reached his Bungalow, there were many people waiting to meet him in the drawing room, but Gurudev said, “I will not meet anyone before the Samagam gets over.” Gurudev also refused to meet even the family members of Mr. Agarwal.   When the Samagam was in its final stage Gurudev said to the devotees, “According to your faith you contribute as much as you can to the organisers of the Samiti.” Hearing this the organisers became restless. They refused to abide by Gurudev’s request. After a long argument the organisers pleaded Gurudev to announce that each devotee should give only a single rupee.   Gurudev said, “I can not do that. According to the law of God, whatever an individual offers at the feet of the Lord, receives the same in return. A person who is capable of giving more can give more than a single rupee.”   After the Samagam was over, Gurudev ’s P.A. requested him, “Looking at the behaviour of the organisers, we should at once move out from here.” Surprisingly Gurudev had shifted from Mr. Agarwal’s Bungalow to the Kumbh Camp. Gurudev calmly said, “It is already too late, you better go and sleep, you can see Lord’s divine play in the morning.”   The next day when all the Sevadars were ready and waiting in their respective camps, many senior office bearers of the organising Samiti requested to meet Gurudev. When Gurudev was informed about it, he said, “Bring them after sometime, by the time I will complete my prayers.”   As per Gurudev’s instructions, all the senior office bearers of the Samiti went to see Gurudev. Gurudev told each of them about their problems, their diseases and their solutions one by one. They were greatly impressed by Gurudev’s spiritual power and were ashamed of their behaviour. The process of Prabhu Kripa Samagam started in December, 2002. Till then “Ayurvigyan ke Rahasya” had completed its 200 days on Aastha Channel. In those programmes Gurudev just by a mere glance at the photograph would state the diseases and the problems of the person and then advise the treatment in the form of divine medicines and divine mantras. In those days the inflow of letters was so much that it was not only impossible to read those numerous letters but also impossible to open them and have a glance.  One day when this problem was stated to Gurudev, he gave a solution by saying, “Now by the divine grace of God, we will solve the problems of the people by giving the divine mantras collectively to the persons. You organise the Samagam for this purpose.” After this the first Prabhu Kripa Samagam was decided to be organized at New Delhi at Hindu Maha Sabha near Birla Mandir on 21st nd – 22 December. A few days after this announcement Gurudev unfolded a strange “leela”.   Along with his Personal Secretary, Gurudev went to the house of a learned gentlemen. There he discussed in detail about the Samagam and the future activities of the “Dham”. During the conversation, the gentleman remarked, “Gurudev, you have a large treasure of the sacred mantras which you plan to give to the people in the samagam. You should charge a good sum of money in the form of entry fee.” Gurudev heard this silently and then all of a sudden he said, “ I have to go to Mehrauli for some specific work. What ever plans you have, think about these.” Then he turned to his P.A. and said, “His suggestions are very good. You sit with him to discuss, I will leave.”   Saying this, Gurudev got up and left. As Guruji’s P.A. resumed the on going discussion with the gentleman, he (the gentleman) started feeling restless and said “What is happening, Why am I getting the sensation of itching ?. In a few moments, the gentleman got so irritated that he was off with his kurta and then his inner garment. Due to immense itching, red patches emerged on his back. The gentlemen remarked, “ We will discuss the topic later. I want to rest now.”   Guruji’s P.A. took leave of the gentleman and returned home. At about 12 o’ clock at night, Gurudev rang his P.A and asked “Is the discussion over.?. The P.A. replied “Yes Gurudev”. Gurudev further said, “Have you noted down the points. These were important. “P.A. replied in short saying “Yes Gurudev.” After pausing for a few moments Gurudev again said “Is he alright ?. Is his health fine.?” Gurudev’s P.A. laughingly remarked, “Gurudev, it is next to impossible to hide anything from you. After you left, his health deteriorated and he started itching. “   On hearing this Gurudev seriously said, “Yes whoever is not pure in mind about the movement of the “ Dham “ will get itching. I have not established this “Dham” for financial gains. God ill take care of the one, who thinks it to be so.”   Even now Gurudev frequently remarks, “Do you want to remain pure or experience itching.” 

Whilst the filming of the show progressed smoothly, during one of the shooting schedules in a private studio, a strange incident happened which intrigued me. As soon as the recording started, the cameraman stopped the camera abruptly and suddenly declared that, “Recording cannot take place now, as Gurudev’s eyes are completely red presently.” I was stunned as I looked at Gurudev’s eyes and did not observe anything abnormal. They were not red. After some time, the interruption of the shooting schedule was resumed. Again, the cameraman ordered the shoot to be stopped as he noticed Gurudev’s abnormally red eyes once again. I personally saw the recording and was taken aback to note, that the cameraman was telling the truth. I asked Gurudev, about the mystery behind the repeated appearance of those red eyes, and he replied, “Call up the owner of this studio. Then I will unravel this mystery.” The owner of the studio was requested to come over to visit Gurudev. Once there, Gurudev spoke to him in person and in a heavy voice which was profoundly earnest in the extreme and deeply concerned, as he revealed insightfully, whilst stating “You have spent lakhs of Rupees on this studio, but still you are running in heavy losses.” Gurudev said, “Many evil practices are going on at this place. That is the reason that this studio is running into heavy loss. I’m going to perform special recital of Cosmic Sound Secrets here to make this place free from all negative energies. But you must always light an earthen lamp here at this corner. Everything shall be fine soon.” He indicated with a gesture where the lamp was to be placed. Later, Gurudev performed the special recital of Cosmic Sound Secrets and the shooting resumed again. Now Gurudev’s eyes appeared normal & shooting went on smoothly. After few days, Gurudev told us that, “The reason for my eyes being red was that the place was full of negative energies and after the recital of secret Cosmic Sounds it was substituted by positive. As expected of a saint of his stature, he omitted to state that he did everything unasked, as he knew what needed to be done to restore the cosmic balance and positivity.

Divine inspiration and a spiritual insight led us to conceptualize and initiate a project to create a TV show based on ‘Spiritualism and Ayurveda’, which would be unique and extraordinary. After exhaustive discussions with a senior executive of an internationally renowned TV Channel, we began our search for a contemporary, spiritually elevated mystic, revered internationally who could nourish, inspire and influence mankind spiritually. We were searching for a divine being who could alter human destinies and give people freedom from their sufferings cure them from innumerable diseases, both mental and physical. After fine tuning our concept, I presented the proposal to Pujya Gurudev, who unassumingly queried as to what the proposed show would be based on, besides wanting to know the content and guidelines along which the show would unfold. I narrated him the concept, the procedures, and content planned for filming. “We will discuss various common and serious diseases in detail, whilst you will respond by throwing light about the corresponding cures for the same in Ayurveda.” Gurudev expressed desire to reflect introspectively on the proposal. And days flew by, as I waited in vain, for Gurudev to revert back to me. Then, one fine day, Gurudev called me and said, “You wanted to discuss about the proposal. Let’s go to Vrindavan. We will sit there and discuss the proposal in detail”. Gurudev instructed me to reach Vrindavan. After reaching Vrindavan I tried to contact Gurudev without success. I found his cell phone switched off. I waited patiently, despite the uncertainty. Around 3 o’clock in the afternoon, I received a call from Gurudev. He asked me to see him at the Iskcon Temple. I hurried to make my way to the Iskcon Temple and finally met Gurudev. Together, we proceeded to Yamuna Ghat. At the Yamuna Ghat Gurudev asked a boatman to take us both for a ride in his boat till such time as Gurudev would ask him to stop. The boatman was promised he would be paid and compensated accordingly for his time, by Gurudev. For almost three hours, we were sitting in a boat and enjoying the ride in River Yamuna. But Gurudev didn’t talk about the proposal. After stepping down from the boat, Gurudev said, “I want to stay in Vrindavan for some work, you can go back to Delhi. We will discuss the proposal in detail, in Delhi”. Next day, in Delhi, Gurudev asked me to come to his residence. He asked me, what the title of the show would be. “Have you given it a thought yet?” I then responded by proposing, “Ayurveda and Us”, “Ayurveda & Mankind” or “Secrets of Ayurveda”. But Gurudev rejected all the titles proposed by me and chose “Secrets of Ayurvigyan” After reflecting introspectively, Gurudev said, “To make the show more unique and interesting, I will look at the photograph of the applicant and give a complete diagnosis of the disease from which he is suffering and prescribe the treatment.” I was stunned. My practical, intellectual mind questioned as to how that could be possible? It would be a scandal to telecast the wrong examination and diagnosis of the patient on an internationally telecast TV channel. To me, it was a frightening prospect. My mind mentally raced ahead surmising the enormity of the risk and potentially devastating consequences for the TV Channel. Reading my thoughts Gurudev calmly assured me by saying “You plan the concept the way I am asking you to. If you are still not convinced, then we will accede to your channel’s wishes.” Finally, the guidelines, concept and content were developed according to his suggestions. With the aim of making the show authentic from every aspect, a well known astrologer was also engaged. It was decided that Gurudev will glance at a photograph and throw light on the ailments the applicant was suffering from and after the detailed diagnosis by Gurudev, the astrologer would verify it on the basis of an astrological chart of the applicant. Gurudev would then discuss the solution, through which the applicant could be cured of those ailments. In the initial episodes of the show, I forwarded the photographs of my family members, friends and relatives. To my amazement Gurudev revealed the precise intimate details of my family members. He revealed facts which I had never ever discussed with him before. “Secrets of Ayurvigyan” started being televised regularly. Along with it began my journey of divine spiritual experiences, with Gurudev. It was a life transforming spiritual journey full of divine and mystical revelations and a positive spiritual evolution from there on.

In the autumn of 2002 our crew travelled to Uttaranchal for the shooting of our show, during which we experienced some mystical encounters. One particular incident revealed Pujya Gurudev Mahabrahmrishi Shree Kumar Swami Ji’s elevated spiritual status and the divine aspect of his persona. The Shoot was scheduled at a private farm house in the beautiful valley of Dehradun. Many famous personalities were present that day to attend the shoot. A senior Congress leader and a famous builder were just two of those that I can recall. Highly impressed by Gurudev’s intellect, and divine spiritual knowledge, the builder, invited Gurudev for dinner at his place. Intuitively sensing their heartfelt sincerity, love and affection for him, Gurudev responded spontaneously by accepting their invitation. The builder reached at the fixed time to Osho Resort where Gurudev was staying. Coincidently, Gurudev’s driver was out to run some errands. After waiting for the driver for some time in vain, Gurudev decided to go to the builder’s residence, in their car. The builder had made lavish arrangements at his residence to welcome Gurudev. The afternoon was being spent with discussion rounds regarding several spiritual topics. Spontaneous conversation flowed to and fro. An array of delicacies was being served. But I noticed, that Gurudev was completely silent. He neither ate nor spoke. He simply sat there quietly, isolated, in his own thoughts. Observing his extraordinarily serene and quiet behavior, the builder and his family’s apprehension grew till they became increasingly tense. They prayed to him to break his mysterious silence. Gurudev spoke at last, saying, “Please let me go. It will be in your own best interests.” The family grew even more tense as they were curious and badly wanted to know the reason behind what Gurudev had just said. Gurudev replied slowly, in a very serious tone, and said, “I will tell you everything, but you will not be able to tolerate it.” The builder’s family still insisted, wanting to know, the real significance and interpretation of his mysterious words. “The truth is,” Gurudev continued, “that you are in a big trouble. You are in heavy debts. Your business is in a bad state and is incurring huge losses. The whole family is suffering from some ailment or the other. You are a well known builder but none of your projects is anywhere near completion. Somewhere or the other obstacles are continually blocking your progress. You could have got yourself in much more trouble, but the idol of Lord Hanuman, placed on the third floor of your house, on which you regularly apply vermillion is protecting you, else you would have ceased to exist in business and ruined completely by now.” Gurudev further clarified and explained to them, saying, “You have invited me with so much love, care and affection, now it’s my responsibility to make you free from all of your problems and difficulties. For that I need to perform a special recital of Cosmic Sound Secrets for you. So I request you to kindly let me go back.” After listening very carefully to everything, the family was in a state of stunned shock. Gurudev said, “its in your own best interests to relieve me as early as possible.” Before leaving, Gurudev also added a request, saying, “Don’t pack or send any food or snacks for me.” Gurudev left the premises amidst the traditional ceremonial fanfare and heartfelt salutations and respects paid by those attending, but I stayed on at the builder’s residence as per Gurudev’s instructions. Much later, as I rose to leave, the builder’s family forced me to take some packed food items without heeding Gurudev’s earlier request. Later that night, I went to Gurudev’s room with the packed food in my hands. I opened the door slightly, as the room was dimly lit. Gurudev was in his meditation. He ordered me to dispose off the packed food as quickly as possible. “Whatever is in your hands, throw it outside and go back to your room, I will meet you in morning,” he told me. At 9 o’clock in the morning, taking Gurudev’s permission through intercom I went to his room to meet him. He was having a cup of tea at the time. After keeping silent for a while, he asked me to apply some salt on my body, before taking my bath. “You must apply a bit of salt water on your body.” I foolishly forgot to follow Gurudev’s instructions, before taking my bath. Later that day, when I met Gurudev, he was smiling as he queried if I had remembered his instructions. “Did you apply salt water on your body before taking your bath?” I said, “I’m sorry, I forgot”. Gurudev responded saying, “Don’t worry, it’s fine”. I asked, “Shall I do it now?” Gurudev replied, “No, it’s not required now. I have already remedied your mistake.”

My son was suffering from fits. His body used to get very stiff. We had shown him to several doctors, who prescribed, scanning of his head. We got it done from Vinay Scanning Centre in Jalandhar, where it was found that there was a hole the size of a wheat grain in the brain of my son. Doctors also prescribed medication to my son, but all efforts were in vain. He was getting no relief. We were in a hopeless situation. A convention was scheduled in Sunam. When we heard about it we decided to attend. When Gurudev arrived at the convention, rain started pouring heavily.Gurudev said, ‘whosoever takes bath in this rain shall be freed from all his problems and difficulties.’ My son was also sitting under the roof of the Pandaal. I asked him to take a bath in that rain. It is surprising to see that since that day, he has not had any relapse of his recurring fits ever again.” Prakash Kaur, Kapurthala “I was struggling against the deadly disease named Psoriasis, because of which I used to get a terrible itch all over my body. My body reacted even to water and that caused an irritation. I used to cry.My body used to bleed from several places. My whole body started to look ugly. I consulted many doctors in Ludhiana and Patiala. But there was no relief. During the convention, when Gurudev asked me to take a shower in the rain, I was surprised the rain water didn’t cause me any itch or discomfort at all and my ailments also ended once and for all. Today, I am completely fine, thanks to the continued hand of God and Gurudev’s divine blessings.” Kamlesh Mittal, Dhuri The above mentioned experiences are those of divine blessings where devotees got relieved of their ailments by soaking themselves in divine rain. Actually, Gurudev has relieved his devotees through several methods. Bathing in this blissful rain is one of those kinds. The incidence of the blissful rain came into the picture many times, at several conventions held around the world. Once Gurudev announced, unexpected, at a convention held on the Police Ground, Hyderabad, that after completion of his meditation, it would rain heavily but would be over within 5 minutes. At that moment there was no sign of clouds or rain in the sky. As predicted intuitively by Gurudev, the rain started pouring after some time. Gurudev again said, “this is not normal rain. These are drops of nectar which God has sent especially for you to relieve you from your all your problems. Make yourself free and soak yourself in this rain, God will bless you”. Devotees present in the convention started dancing happily in the rain which stopped after 5 minutes. Next day, many devotees, shared their experiences of having been delivered from their problems and ailments.
